GEORGE BENIAS PRESENTS FEELINGS BY BENJAMIN KRESS

Three decades of hybrid figures, pulled from art history, religious iconography,
and pop culture, land at George Benias for Kress’ first walk-around in Athens.
Six oil paintings run traditional technique straight into holographic foil. Six
shadowboxes turn glass beads, pins, and found objects into something closer
to a reliquary than a frame. Transformation, ritual, ecstasy, catharsis, feelings
that refuse to sit still.
