ILEANA TOUNTA CONTEMPORARY ART CENTER PRESENTS SUGAR DRIES ON PAPER PLATES Curated by Galini Lazani

The hour after a celebration holds its own kind of magic. In SUGAR DRIES

ON PAPER PLATES, the music has just stopped and the evening keeps

glowing in everything it left behind. Joy and melancholy sit at the same table,

memory rearranges the night into new shapes, and the leftovers of a party

become small, precious relics of a moment that mattered. Painting and

assemblage turn that afterglow into something you can stand in front of and

feel. Sweetness lingers a little longer once it has dried.
