The hyper-glossy white cube of George Benias extends the sexiness of Bety
Krňanská’s installations:
ceramic-like, neo–post-futurist, with sharp nails, red lips, fabric patchwork, and
carnivalesque engines roaring into the room; metal sculptures like the aftermath of
a drunk woman stripping on her way out of a car crash. It’s a seductive wreckage-
slick, charged, and unapologetically glamorous in its disarray.
