In 08.05.12.16, Eliza Krikoni digs down into her sense of danger. Presented at CYPHER Gallery, the project brings together performance and installation, placing the viewer inside a loop where perception becomes the tool. The title, 08.05.12.16., acts as a coded signal, while the artworks require the audience’s performative engagement to be activated. Though a numbered path, we are guided towards Eliza’s security lines protocol, acting in her almost ritualistic iter for survival. Through this shared movements, the exhibition becomes a training in alertness, and a jeopardy of the now.
