CAN GALLERY presents: Konstantinos Ladianos — Chronicles of Anesthesia

13.09.2025 - 25.10.2025

There’s a dreamlike iconography in the work of Konstantinos Ladianos, where every animal sculpture feels like a self-portrait, a version or a vision of the artist himself.

The human form is almost absent, yet completely present, not in shape, but in instinct, in emotion. The figures seem to come out of a fable, fragile and wild at once.

Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf comes to mind, not the story, but the closeness of danger and innocence, the way something tender can carry a shadow.

This is a personal mythology, a slow unfolding. Through thread, clay, and paint, Ladianos lets the body speak in new forms. The materials are humble, but the gestures are precise, almost reverent. Each work holds something, a memory, a tremor, a secret, shaped by hand and held still, just for a moment.
