ZOUMBOULAKIS GALLERIES PRESENTS : Peggy Kliafa Healing the Grid
Pill capsules, blister packs, and pharmacy bags shed their clinical roles and ascend into glowing chandeliers, suspended columns, and collaged compositions. In Healing the Grid, Packaging is glorified, its materiality elevated beyond function; the absent pill becomes irrelevant, almost forgotten.
What remains is form, translucent, symmetrical, strangely divine. Color layers into rhythm, light plays colors surface, and suddenly we’re closer to kinetic art than critique, closer to reverence than resistance.
Yet, beneath this glow, the grid persists. Kliafa lets it tremble, quietly, under the weight of something more ancient, more symbolic. Healing is re-imagined.
