THIRAS ART SPACE PRESENTS MARGINS OF COLLAPSE BY DINOS CHATZIRAFAILIDIS

Thiras is housed in a renovated neoclassical building, its
history now cut through with futurist touches: silver surfaces,
built-in altars, podiums.
It’s a striking space for a first show, and Margins of Collapse
matches it, going straight for what sits underneath: a
psychological fragmentation of thought, dark and shiny at
once.
Seven artists push their mediums to the edge: steel bent but not
snapped, mineral surfaces carrying their memory. A mound
rises slowly off the floor. Walls are punctured where the
shadow narrows.
What builds across the rooms is a charged troubled stillness,
fault lines running through thought and body alike, present but
never quite breaking open.
