The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation presents: Landscapes of Memory. The Ones I Kept By Jannis Psychopedis
At the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, “Jannis Psychopedis: Landscapes of Memory. The Ones I Kept” presents an intimate cartography of an artist who made modern Greece visible through plural forms.
Across seventy works the artist chose to keep, Psychopedis traces a life in motion drawing, painting, collage, each medium a different accent in a persistent dialogue between birthplace and broader European currents.
The exhibition’s twenty chapters, narrated by the artist himself, reveal how homeland, memory, and a restless practice converge into a beautiful polyphonic testament, one that honors diversity of expression as the means by which a single life becomes many landscapes of memory.
