RADIO ATHENE PRESENTS ANIMALS PETTING HUMANS BY ANA BOTEZATU

24.04.2025 - 25.05.2025

In a universe where the sky glows blush-pink and cream, and the air carries the scent of myth and memory, Ana Botezatu’s ceramic world unfolds like a dream halfway between a children’s tale and a surreal exotic fable. Beneath stylized palm trees, hares dressed like dandies and cats in golden Aladdin hues strike elegant poses, their bodies cloaked in cobalt silks.

The exhibition brings together beautiful hand-built glazed ceramics—whimsical figures, animal-human hybrids, decorative tiles, and functional objects like vases, cups, plates and candleholders. Blending mythology, folk art, and fragments of daily life, Botezatu creates a tactile universe where emotion takes shape, and fantasy offers a gentle lens on the ordinary.
