Alexander Lee Page’s incised grids and sgraffito cut through the night of the surface, letting buried color rise like memory, and opening onto a sequence of layered spaces: empty rooms, distant horizons, mapping a sensitive and restless psychology of everyday life in which neighbors are always, in turn, watchers and watched.
