NINETTO PRESENTS: THE LETTER C BY DANIEL LICHT AND ROMAIN BASILE PETROT

The Letter C, the second exhibition at Ninetto Gallery, brings together New York-based painter Daniel Licht and Paris-based designer Romain Basile Petrot for their Greek debut. 

Set within the stylized sitting room of the neoclassical mansion, the show explores a quiet tension between form and function, intimacy, seduction and detachment. 

Licht’s paintings, flat and marble-like, offer the illusion of weight, while Petrot’s sculptural pieces gesture toward utility without fully surrendering to it.

Familiar domestic elements: armchairs, mesh lamps like soft traps, painted surfaces, are present, yet handled with precision and restraint. 

The Letter C suggests something about to be revealed, a home reimagined as a set, withholding warmth in favor of control, and charged with the thrill of anticipation.
