ALEKOS FASSIANOS MUSEUM PRESENTS BUCOLIC FEVER BY MALVINA PANAGIOTIDI
Malvina Panagiotidi’s Bucolic Fever enters into a direct dialogue with the work of Alekos Fassianos, using his paintings as both a point of departure and a field of exploration. Drawing on extensive research into his archive, Panagiotidi develops a series of sitespecific works that reconfigure her characteristic forms and motifs. Familiar elements are displaced in space from their original contexts and transformed into hybrid objects combining natural and design elements. The exhibition investigates the afterlife of Fassianos’ visual language, tracing its transformation from painted image into spatial, material, and sculptural form.
