From May 2025, the Art Athina Pop Up exhibition transforms the InterContinental Athens into a dynamic showcase of contemporary sculpture. Curated by Savvas Sayoglou, this exhibition features 27 works by emerging and established artists, each selected by important participating galleries in anticipation of the upcoming Art Athina 2025 fair.

This initiative underscores Art Athina’s commitment to expanding the reach of contemporary art beyond traditional gallery settings, bringing art into unexpected environments.

Set among the hotel’s lobbies and lounges, the works feel less like an exhibition and more like part of the atmosphere—art that lives with you, even if only for a moment. It’s a quiet, powerful reminder: art doesn’t need walls to speak.
