*Celebration? Realife Revisited* traces back to 1972, when Chaimowicz stopped treating art as something to look at and started treating it as something to step into, and live. Instead of a f inished object, he set up a space that felt mid-event, glitter, low light, scattered things, like a party that never properly ended. He was in it too, making tea, talking, living the moment And the work, so that nothing sat at a distance. That original move still holds the piece together. What’s here now isn’t a replica but a continuation of that logic and magic: an environment that stays slightly off-balance, where decoration, mood, and social presence matter as much as any single object, and where the work only really exists when someone steps into it, and start dancing.
