ALKINOIS PRESENTS CURLY DAWN BY INES DI FOLCO JEMI
Soft light glints off golden surfaces, neon hues shimmer, and delicate fabrics drift through the space—setting the tone for Inès Di Folco’s striking exhibition at Alkinois. Created during her residency last year, her drawings and paintings on fabric conjure mystical figures and ancestral rituals with subtle intensity.
Drawing on the myth of Circe from Homer’s Odyssey, Di Folco explores transformation and feminine power. Her work reinterprets mythological narratives through a personal, poetic lens—touching on spirituality, love, and the politics of representation.
The result is a quietly compelling body of work where myth and memory are layered across textile, alabaster, paper and light, forming a space that feels both earthly and transcendent.
