CAN CHRISTINA ANDROULIDAKI PRESENTS SEIZENSO, A FUNERAL FOR THE LIVING

Japan has a ceremony where you attend your own funeral. Seizenso is a farewell to the person you were, held while you are still alive. Fourteen artists take that threshold and push it into the present. The mood is raw and tender at once, a room full of endings turning into beginnings. Memory, myth and craft run through the whole show, and every piece hums with the energy of deciding what to keep and what to let go. Survival here is a constant act of shedding and rebuilding.
