SYLVIA KOUVALI PRESENTS SEASONS END By Tamara Henderson

Before phones, travelers came home and gathered friends around a projector to narrate a trip
scene by scene. Tamara Henderson’s Seasons End carries that same impulse, a dreamlike road
movie shot on 16mm, starring two sculptures standing in for people. Their car hangs vertically on
the wall, no longer a vehicle, just what’s left of the journey. Edited in-camera, unbroken, the film
holds onto the feeling of a story told exactly as it happened, nothing added, nothing smoothed
over.
