Simon Mullan splits the show into two interfaces, video on one
side, textile on the other, both circling the same messy
question: what does it actually take to make art and survive it.
Second Screen pulls together five years of footage shot
between Berlin and Athens, daily stills and working process
narrated straight from the artist’s own head, borrowing its title
from that habit of watching something while half-checking your
phone. Second Skin runs alongside it, five black textile pieces
scaled like portraits, standing in for bodies that aren’t there,
skinning alive old bomber jackets into chimeras of techno
culture, proof of how people come together, and belong
somewhere loud.
