BREEDER PRESENTS DANCING SERPENTS BY LUKE EDWARD HALL

The Breeder presents Dancing with Serpents, Luke Edward Hall’s fourth solo at the gallery. Working in painting, drawing and ceramics, Hall conjures a sensuous cosmos where canvases sweat erotic tension and faun-like figures move with feral ease. Antiquity, Cornish piskies and Arthurian ghosts collide in a paradise lost of Fauvist heat and overgrown botanicals. Color becomes skin, bodies bloom, bruise and dissolve into floral tides, simultaneously proud and fragile, while desire, tenderness and ritual thread through each other.
