Warm, mischievous and oddly tender, Lotteria is Henry Curchod’s imaginary restaurant: embroidered jackets, retro logos and a chorus of chopping boards, fish and steaming pots populate Henry Curchod’s richly textured canvases. Rooted in his upbringing as a chef’s son and informed by devotional ex‑voto traditions, the work is equal parts appetite and altar, playful fantasy and heartfelt memory. It’s a warm, melancholic banquet, theatrical and, above all, hungry for human company.
