The mansion stands as a neoclassical masterpiece, unrestored, unfinished,
marked by time.
Its rough halls, worn parquet, and faded tapestries remain undisturbed, and art settles into place,
dressing nostalgia.
Curated by Polina Kosmadaki, HOMECOMING brings together Greek and international artists
who enter as temporary inhabitants, placing works that rest as if continuing an unfinished
conversation.
In the former home of Odysseas Elytis on Ithakis Street, Matthias Arndt opens this new private art
space as something returned to, where home is neither fixed nor complete, held between memory
and the present, open and porous, with new artistic worlds still to be built.
