DIO HORIA PRESENTS WEAK SIGNAL GROUP EXHIBITION

2.04.2026 - 16.05.2026

Dio Horia’s group exhibition Weak Signal cuts through the noise of contemporary art
discourse to focus on a sharper claim: images today are no longer just seen but they
become a part of an operative system.
The show draws on Harun Farocki’s notion of the “operational image” to examine how
visual culture now functions within systems of data, automation, and control.
Across painting, video, and installation, the works trace a blurred boundary between
physical and digital realities, where avatars, synthetic environments, and constructed
forms reflect a world increasingly shaped by algorithmic logic.
Rather than illustrating technology, Weak Signal positions art as a testing ground where
human perception confronts machine processes, making visible the infrastructures that
organize how we see and understand The today.
Bringing together works by Maja Djordjevic, Petros Estathiadis, Elias Kafouros, Katelyn
Ledford, Eva Papamargariti, Ally Rosenberg, Emily Ludwig Shaffer, and Aleksandar
Todorovic.
